| Located north of Lahad Datu, Sandakan, the second biggest town in Sabah, shares similar traits as Lahad Datu. Sandakan is well known for its busy sea ports and the town is also one of the main contributors to the palm oil and cocoa industry in Malaysia.

| Promising results from LHD convinced Yickhoe Group of Companies to further expand its influence in the eastern region of Malaysia. Hence, Sandakan Metal Sdn Bhd (SMSB) was established. SMSB first begun its operation in back in 2009. Similar to LHD, SMSB carries an inventory mainly consisting of YHFS, YHSI and ECCO products.
